My name is Cat and I started Inner Water Reflection through my massage therapy business of 9 years. I learned so much about how our bodies work in conjunction with our nervous system, brain, and somatic awareness. I am here to share what I have learned.

I thought about all of my favorite times that I have lived life and it usually involved water. Being in the state of my most peaceful moments and in wonderment of the nature surrounding me, I would look into my reflection in the water. There was always judgement in the back of my head, but I ignored it and would dunk myself into the water and forget all about it.

It took me a long time, but I found myself liking, more and more, of what was looking back at me in my reflections.

Through personal experiences and observing clients, I have learned a lot about the human body, as a whole. This is how I am going to change the world. Sharing my stories and what worked for me to get to where I am at now.

Josh, my husband, is also joining me on this journey. He has his fair share of experiences. He found an organization called YFFR (Yoga For First Responders) and something compelled him to give their yoga a try. Never set foot into this kind of practice ever before. He loved it so much, he got certified in it himself and is now part of IWR to help bring the body portion into this work to make it truly a work of the entire body.

Together we combine tactical breathwork, yoga, and unconventional healing to bring your mind, body, and somatic awareness into alignment—so you can reconnect with your whole self.
